“One of a Kind” Jewelry for a “One of a Kind” women!

Petra Darchaman, also known as “ARTEFAKT BY PETRA”, managed to turn her passion into her work.

The interest in the creation of jewelry was first sparked as she was employed by the Theatre Graz in the costume department.  It quickly became her passion and joy in life.

Her “Works of Art” are one of a kind and unique in their composition. They tell stories of journeys from all around the world.  The closer you look, the more you will recognize the small details that are hidden and worked into each piece.

The result is stunning, classy and filled with poetry. Unique, wrapped in a special flair – each piece of Jewelry tells a special story.

Her work does not seek for regularity of industrial fabrication. Through careful and affectionate handwork all of her necklaces are individuall master pieces.

During the material selection she does not set her fantasy any baunderies. She detects a lot of the fancy and extravagant material traveling around and visiting art- antique- and flea markets.

The motto “from old make new“ is a fixed component of her philosophy.

By putting together different material in different combinations, the unique pieces come into existence.

It can be said that she combines different cultures: Africa, Asia, South America and much more are glancing united at one string.

Not only gold, silver or gem make a jewelry „precious“ – what is more important and makes it special is the history which stands behind each pearl!
